# MRC Research, GDPR & Confidentiality Training

This is a guide on how to ensure you have completed the right MRC module to access your Turing TRE.

1. Go to [MRC training website](https://byglearning.com/mrcrsc-lms/course/index.php?categoryid=1)

2. Select the "Centre for Research Policy (previously the Regulatory Support Centre)" link.

3. Either select or expand the "e-Learning" link.

4. Select the 'Research, GDPR and Confidentiality – what you really need to know' link.

5. If you're not already logged in you'll be prompted to sign in by selecting the "Continue" button.
   If you don't have an account, follow the instructions to register.

6. You should now be redirected to the course page.
   It consists of a number of videos and supporting resources.
   Make your way through the course.
   If you have completed the course previously, you can skip to the quiz.

7. When you are ready, load and complete the 'Research, GDPR and confidentiality quiz'.

8. Once you have passed the quiz, you should see a link titled 'Research, Data and Confidentiality Quiz Certificate'.
   Select this link and then select 'View certificate'.

9. Email the certificate to your Project Team's Project Manager (who sent you these instructions).
