# Project initialisation

You will receive a link to a SharePoint folder from {ref}`role_tresa` containing all the relevant documents required for completion to safely deploy a TRE. Keep a link to this folder saved as you'll need to access it a lot to complete various steps!

Project initialisation has 3 steps:

- {ref}`emergency_contacts`
- {ref}`responsibility_delegation`
- {ref}`project_classification`

After these are complete, you should have a completed `Turing Trusted Research Environment (TRE) Project Initialisation` form:

1. Send a DocuSign document out to the relevant people as laid out in the form to confirm they are happy with the decisions made

2. Save the document as a PDF in the `signed` folder within the `project-initiation` folder on SharePoint
