# Teardown TRE

Follow the [Data Safe Haven documentation](https://data-safe-haven.readthedocs.io/en/v4.2.2/roles/system_manager/manage_deployments.html#remove-a-single-sre) to tear down a single SRE.

You should also [delete](https://data-safe-haven.readthedocs.io/en/v4.2.2/roles/system_manager/manage_users.html#deleting-users) **all** inactive users from the SHM.
