# Validate TRE teardown request

> This task is the responsibility of {ref}`role_tresa`.

The {ref}`role_project_team` will email {ref}`role_tresa` at `trustedresearch@turing.ac.uk` to tear down a particular TRE at the end of a project.

Check that there is a signed Turing TRE Project Termination form in the project's sharepoint folder at: `project-termination -> signed`.

If the form is not present or lacks the correct signatures, inform/remind the {ref}`role_project_team` by sending them the {ref}`request_teardown` instructions page.

Otherwise, proceed to tearing down the TRE.
