# Overview (trusted_research_team_onboarding_guide)= ## Onboarding - Ask an existing member of TRESA to give you access to the [trusted-research](https://github.com/alan-turing-institute/trusted-research/settings/access) GitHub repo - Check you can view (and add to) the following (bookmark these): - [SRE project board](https://github.com/orgs/alan-turing-institute/projects/25/views/1?layout=board) - [Management project board](https://github.com/orgs/alan-turing-institute/projects/52/views/1?layout=board) - Get an existing Trusted Research member to email [Turing IT](mailto:ITServices@turing.ac.uk) and ask them to give you access to the [trusted research](mailto:trustedresearch@turing.ac.uk) inbox. - Once this is done, you can go to **{menuselection}`Open --> Shared Mailbox`** in Outlook, search for "DSH operations team", then click `Add`. ## Fortnightly meetings 1. The {ref}`trusted research lead ` should update the team on any changes to the project boards (see above) and assign issues as appropriate. 2. The {ref}`trusted research lead ` should discuss any issues the team is having with deployments 3. For any new upcoming projects, it should be discussed who will take primary responsibility for handling tasks for that TRE. Assign this person to the GitHub issue once it has been made. 4. Coordinate Data Study Groups when they are upcoming - Consult the DSG team or check the [Turing website](https://www.turing.ac.uk/search/node?keys=data+study+groups) on dates - Coordinate annual leave of the TRESA team and who is available to cover the DSG - see {ref}`sysadmin_dsg` 5. In every other meeting (every 4 weeks) assign a {ref}`data manager ` to carry out the {ref}`data_manager_regular_tasks` in their own time - Encourage the person who did this last to report any changes that were made as a result of these checks
