👀 Why use a TRE?

In order to work with sensitive data, projects at the Alan Turing Institute must work inside a Trusted Research Environment (TREs). At the Alan Turing Institute, we use the Turing Data Safe Haven as the underlying infrastructure to deploy and run TREs on the Microsoft Azure cloud.

The Trusted Research Environments Service Area (TRESA) team manage the TREs used for analysing sensitive data at the Turing.
