User training#

Purpose#

Turing TRE users must each have a user account. These accounts are used to log in to the Turing TRE. The purpose of this document is to define how and when such accounts should be created.

Scope#

This procedure covers user account creation for all projects running in the Turing TRE.

Complete user information form, determine training requirements and collect training certificates

🧑‍💻 Trusted research data manager

Ensure that user information is correctly logged

Procedure#

  1. Complete user information form:

    • Responsible: 🧑‍🏫 Project data manager

    • Navigate to the user-information ‣ users.xlsx spreadsheet in Sharepoint

    • Fill out the form following the guidance here <complete_user_information_form>.

  2. Determine user access requirements:

  5. Add certificates in Sharepoint:

    • Navigate to the user-information ‣ training-certificates spreadsheet in Sharepoint

    • Ensure that completion certificates and signed Terms of Use are uploaded for each user in the 🧑‍🔬 Project team.
