User training#
Purpose#
Turing TRE users must each have a user account. These accounts are used to log in to the Turing TRE. The purpose of this document is to define how and when such accounts should be created.
Scope#
This procedure covers user account creation for all projects running in the Turing TRE.

Procedure#
Complete user information form:

Determine user access requirements:
Responsible: 🧑🏫 Project data manager
Work with the 🧑🏫 Project data manager to determine which users will need to complete which training courses.
Guidance on what will be needed is available here.
Complete user training:
Responsible: 🧑🔬 Project team
Each user needs to provide evidence that they have completed all their required training.
For each required training course, follow the guidance below on how to obtain a completion certificate:
Agree to terms of use:
Responsible: 🧑🔬 Project team
Each user needs to agree to the appropriate terms of use.
Ask your 🧑🏫 Project data manager to send you the appropriate Terms of Use to DocuSign.
Add certificates in Sharepoint:
Responsible: 🧑🔬 Project team
Navigate to the
spreadsheet in SharepointEnsure that completion certificates and signed Terms of Use are uploaded for each user in the 🧑🔬 Project team.
Update user information form:
Responsible: 🧑💻 Trusted research data manager
Update the
spreadsheet with the completion and expiry dates for each training course.
