Validate data ingress

This task is the responsibility of Project Team.

Once data ingress has taken place, we require somebody from the Project Team who has access to the environment to confirm that the data that has been ingressed is what was expected. This is to prevent against:

• Malicious attempts to introduce the wrong data

• The possibility of human error meaning the wrong data was ingressed

Process

1. In your SharePoint folder, navigate to data-ingress -> Turing TRE Data Ingress Validation.

2. Fill in the required information:

   • Project name: The name of your project

   • Insert date: Replace the text with the date on which ingress took place

   • Name: The name of the person who is representing this project to sign the document. This must be someone who already has access to the TRE

   • Role: The role of the person who is representing this project to sign the document. This must be someone who already has access to the TRE

3. Once complete, notify the Trusted Research Environments Service Area (TRESA) by emailing trustedresearch@turing.ac.uk
