Emergency contacts#

This task is the responsibility of Project Team.

The purpose of this step is to ensure the right people are involved in determining whether your project needs a TRE, and who the right people to contact are in case of emergency or breach within your project.

Complete the emergency contacts section of the form#

  1. Determine who your Data Provider Representative (DPR) (could be more than one person), and Principal Investigator are.

  2. Identify a suitable Referee. This should be done in consultation with the Turing Data Protection Team.

  3. You will also need to decide who your Project Manager will be. This person is the point of contact for the Project Team for the project.

  4. In the SharePoint folder go to project-initiation -> Turing TRE Project Initialisation

  5. Fill in the Emergency contacts info for Project Manager, Principal Investigator, Data Provider Representative(s) and Referee based on the above
